Islands of Adventure {First Impression}

By Lara 6 Comments

Universal Islands of AdventureI have been to my share of theme parks, however, I have to say that Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure® is definitely at the very top of my BEST ever list! This theme park literally has it all!

There are rides for the kids, rides for the adults, and even rides for your younger kids who are more adventurous than the normal “kid ride” fare!

Disclosure: I received free passes for me and my family to attend the theme park. However, all opinions are my own.

The ride process is also stress free and runs smoothly. Everyone is very friendly and actually seems to enjoy their job–a rarity at any theme park I have ever visited. The roller coasters were not only thrilling just being coasters, they had that extra added thrill of making you feel like you are a part of the action.

The most amazing ride there, and by far the most creative and awesome ride I have ever experienced was, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man®! It was INCREDIBLE! First of all, it was in 4D! That made for an adventure like no other. There was also the facet that you were actually involved in the plot! Spider Man’s enemies were out to get you! Thankfully, we made it out OK though, and lived to tell all of you about this fantastic ride! This is a MUST see for the entire family!

I really love the whole set up of the park too! Each section is a visual thrill ride in and of itself. It is like you are literally stepping into the pages of your favorite comic books and adventure movies. The colors, art work, and overall optical experience  is astounding! This mom was mesmerized!

My little one was enthralled with Dr. Seuss’ Landing. It was like walking through the pages of your favorite Dr. Seuss books. It was completely amazing!

The Cat In The Hat Ride was WAY cool!! You were taken into the pages of the popular book, The Cat In The Hat™, and were treated to a visual display of the characters you love and their mess making fun–all before MOM gets home!! This is one you will definitely NOT want to miss!

And, don’t let me get started on the adorableness of the Curious George area!

I really could go on and on and on about Universal’s Islands of Adventure®! There are SO many more rides and things to talk about… No worries though! I am sure I will visit again and tell you more awesome things about this spectacular theme park… perhaps, we can focus on the coasters next time!

It is tons of fun for the whole family!!

    Thanks for the honest review! I’ve been wanting to take the kids there for awhile now, but wasn’t sure if it was worth the time/money.
